The accommodation must have, at minimum, smoke detectors and a mandatory extinguisher in most autonomous communities. Always keep a first-aid kit on hand and ensure good cleaning and maintenance practices.

6. Accept as many requests as possible

This is important to have a presence on Airbnb; keep in mind that the platform’s goal is to provide the best possible experience, so try to accept as many requests as possible and cancel as few reservations as possible.

It’s not just about the platform’s algorithm viewing you favorably, but also ensuring fluid communication with users and guests.
The host must be available to resolve any issues guests may have during their stay.

8. Get positive stay reviews

Getting positive reviews is the result of providing good service or the service expected by the guest. Encourage reviews by sending a reminder to guests via message or email.
If you achieve positive comments and a high average rating, the platform will view it positively.

9. Security and maintenance:

Ensure the property is in good condition, safe, and clean before each guest arrival.

  • You must also reference the equipment the accommodation has; this is an important point for users when making a decision.

How Does Airbnb Pay Hosts?

Airbnb pays hosts through several payment methods, which may vary depending on the country where the host is located. Common methods include:

  • Bank transfer: The money is transferred directly to the host’s bank account.
  • PayPal: Funds are sent to the host’s PayPal account.
  • Payoneer Prepaid Debit Card: Hosts can receive payments on a prepaid debit card.
  • Western Union: Some hosts can opt to receive payments via Western Union.
